The RIG Events sub-committee and BBC Radio Legal & Business Affairs staged a presentation and question-and-answer session on 22nd April to explain the new Terms of Trade for Radio, which give indies more scope to exploit programmes they make for the BBC, and gives the BBC more rights to fulfil their growing public service obligations.  The event was well supported and followed by informal networking over drinks and snacks, providing an opportunity for many indies to meet members of the L & B team for the first time.

Daniel Miller of the BBC kindly summarised the changes in a series of 12 slides which can be downloaded in powerpoint format here.

We will also be posting as soon as possible a short Guide in the form of 'FAQs' that arose out of the Q&A session.  It will be available here soon.
